We humans have a general tendency to believe in what we see. Someone has rightly said: يؤمنون بالتجربة والشهود. To concentrate on things that are unseen is very difficult. People can see their children, family and business. This is why, they are emotionally attached to them. God is visible. This is why, they don’t associate their emotions with God. People don’t think about all that they have. They take everything for granted. This is the test. Had developing love of God been very easy, there would have been no test. The test is that you must think. You must think about what you cannot see. The definition of a human being is that he has conceptual thinking. What distinguishes a human being from other creatures is that humans possess conceptual thought. Humans can think by conceptualizing at the mental level. Why has this quality been given to humans? This is so that they think about what they cannot see, so that they turn the invisible into visible. If a person activates his conceptual thinking, he will definitely discover God and will develop love for God.
